Meredyth is a screenwriter and creator of 2 DEGREES, a drama series that has received development funding through Screen Tasmania. She has also worked as an Associate Producer and researcher with Essential Media, as well as writing coverage reports for Matchbox Pictures.

 In 2014, her feature film script KAYLA was shortlisted for the BOFA Film Festival screenwriting award. That same year, she won the Tasmanian film and television pitching competition with her feature film script NORFORCE, and competed in the national pitching competition at Screen Forever.

 Meredyth received the 2013 New Writers Fund from Screen Tasmania, and was a recipient of a Gold Pass Education and Training grant which she used to study film and TV at AFTRS. 

 As a freelance journalist Meredyth has covered the war in Aceh, the Indonesian occupation of East Timor and subsequent transition to independence, as well as the film industry in Asia. Her reporting has appeared in a wide range of outlets including The NZ ListenerRadio New ZealandNew MatildaEureka Street, Screen Education andMETRO.

Meredyth has a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing from RMIT.
